DJ Khaled feat. Drake, Rick Ross and Lil’ Wayne – “No New Friends” (NEW MUSIC) [LISTEN]

The “I’m On One” squad are back. Khaled, Drizzy, Ross and Weezy headed back to the studio to record what is meant to be the SFTB remix, just with a big twist – another instrumental (strangely). As Drake said in his interview at the YMCMB Pre-Grammy party, the official remix hadn’t dropped yet, this is it. The song was originally meant to be Drake’s, but was passed to Khaled for his upcoming album, Suffering From Success. A few days ago, ‘No New Friends: The Movie’ was dropped in anticipation, but from a hazy production, nobody really knew what to expect. All artists go in on the track, especially Drake, seeing as it is the remix for his banger that has just hit platinum; good-looking, Drake. This track was produced by fellow Toronto native Boi-1da and the usually expectional Noah ’40’ Shebib. The track was a guaranteed banger, but has received a mixed view – however, so did ‘Started From The Bottom’ when it first hit the internet, but now it’s gone platinum. So, just wait out, let the song grow on you and then make a decision. My verdict: fire. WTB x MMG x OVO x YMCMB. Enjoy.
